PB is the greatest

But I'm sort of excited about a break from it for a while. Even I'm a bit shocked at how much PB I consumed this summer. Currently in the pantry are a jar of Adams %100 Natural Peanut Butter (smooth) and Whole Foods Peanut Butter (crunchy). I opted to skip the organic this time and can't really taste the difference, which makes the Whole Foods sale price a good one, and the product good enough for a repeat purchase.

I go through a jar every two weeks...what's your rate? I desperately want to know I'm not alone in my PB addiction! :)

I read a list of "10 foods where 'organic' makes a different". Peanuts/ peanut butter was one of them since they grow in the ground. The theory is that there is more pesticide exposure in the seepage. Same argument was made for potatoes.

Of course now that I try to find that list, I can only come up with this: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=52420

which doesn't list peanuts at all.

I make my own PB in the food processor.

Thanks for the info. So even if I can't taste the difference, now I know there really is one!
